Kathy!! Joan played Kathy's mother on Suddenly Susan. Nene is not very funny. She will not be able to handle it. Fashion Queens Bev Smith would be better than Ms. Leaks. Nene does not appear to be a style maven.

I like Kathy G. I think she'd be ok. Kelly O hasn't much fashion sense.

Nene Leakes? OMG - NOOOOOOO! And no also to Wendy Williams. Both of these ladies are too loud and too everything! My opinion is that FP should just either change its format or go away altogether, because it could never be the same without Joan.

I was afraid of that....I don't like her, I don't care for her comedy and she's not a "fashion and style" person. Good bye, Fashion Police. It was nice knowin ya.......

I agree - Joan had a "knack", if you will, for handling herself. She knew she wasn't for everybody and didn't care. She had confidence and "cred", so her jokes and fashion critique, while hard to swallow for some/many, usually had merit. Kathy just seems crude without any foundation (best term I could think of right now). I was hoping for either Dennis Basso or Andre Leon Talley as possible replacements or at least rotating subs until they found a good fit.

I did like Nene a lot when she first started on the Housewives but she got very arrogant and like most reality stars they in their minds think they are A list. I'm not fan of Nene anymore since her attitude and ego got out of control

Never thought of Dennis but I think he's a great choice. He has that funny shallow humor like Joan and they were great when they did a QVC show together

Re: Replacement for Joan Rivers on FP

My first thought was of Melissa to fill in. Seemed so obvious. But then I had to remember they need a no holds barred comedian and though she's Joan's daughter, she is not a comedian. I love Kathy Griffin. I can't think of another comedian that could attempt to fill those big shoes aside from Kathy. But there will never be another Joan.

Just read some other replies. I think Isaac Mizrahi would be sensational!!!! But he doesn't need the gig.
