I know that Jeanne was pushed into the bling and "sparkle and shine" stuff before she passed. QVC was directing her to do so, since it seemed the embroidery was getting too expensive for their "market". She said as much on television. So I don't think she was too happy with the products she was presenting either. I remember well a specific statement from her that this was the case.

And, PeaJay, I realize that Angel probably has little or nothing to do with the design work, but that doesn't make the sequins and rhinestones any more or less appealing. I just think they either go back to the original concept of Jeanne Bice, or change the name of the line to something other than what she created - QF. This whole bling thing seems like an insult to Jeanne's original creativity.

I can't help but think of Laverne's giant L, when I see those big lobsters, umbrellas, flamingos... what were they thinking?

I presume they're thinking that there are folks who like the idea of QF but don't want a giant sequined lobster or anchor or whatever over the entire front of the shirt. So, they did something smaller, but still in fun summertime themes. Also, one can like a particular motif or look (nautical, for example) even she doesn't live near the ocean or have a boat; I like a great navy and white striped tee as much as anyone, but boats, sailing, etc. have nothing to do with my life! I actually have a dark blue QF shirt with a red lobster -- from way back -- however I live in Massachusetts and they have lobsters here -- not as often as Maine though

Hey, I'm in Alaska and there isn't a flamingo for miles but I like them. So I bought that set just for fun. Going by some of the comments here I should only be wearing motifs with bears, moose, wolves, caribous or puffins.

QF runs too big for me. I like nautical look (never on a boat, etc. though) but don't like the "decorations" on the shirts. I bought QF years ago and seldom wore the pieces--too much bling and sparkle. Donated all of my Christmas sweaters, etc. This TSV is cute, but not for me.

I watched every show on April 23. However, I didn't buy anything which is very unusual for me. Why? I am tired of sequins and grommets. I already have a number of decorated sequin shirts and three decorated with grommets.

Had the special value been embroidered instead of sequined, I would have bought them even with more grommets. Love the embroidered pieces. I will keep watching.

I loved the blue short sleeve tee I ordered this. Wow, so glad I did, this shirt is off the hook fabulous!! As a plus size, not crazy for the stripe shirt, but it will be a knock around tee. I love the short sleeve colored gromment shirt so much I would pay tsv price for just that!!!
