@mantaraye,

I am in the same predicament furthermore is this a costume party? Why so many religious images? Why is the point to wear Michelangelo´s frescoes printed or a zillion Byzantine Virgin Mary’s? I am European and clueless🌻Qu’elle,horreur I have never seen anything more distasteful in years.

According to Wikipedia:

"The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. It marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit."

There's a different theme every year, and this year's theme is "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination." Some celebs go all out with the theme, while others pretty much disregard it!

I think the Met Gala was a respected event in the past. The evening dress, as we knew it, was the highlight of the evening,

Good grief, what has happened to the respectability of our culture here?

I believe she did receive a divorce settlement from her ex, but she blew through it all investing in crazy things. She lost quite a bit of her money with the John Travolta film that never happened.

@bikerbabe I remember that episode too.  I felt sorry for Matt and his struggle to keep up. I think they were in Costa Rica.

Amy has turned into a real  shrew.

Re: BRAVO news and notes for APRIL 2018

Luann de Lesseps made Page Six today.  According to the article, Lu was spotted puffing on a joint outside the Public Hotel in NYC.

No wonder her voice keeps getting deeper.

I thought she looked fabulous, goodness what a look and so effortless!

I like Amal's look, but based on the theme of the event,  my pick is Rihanna.

I also think this was a great look based on the theme.

Zany Frances McDormand's spoofiness, with the manic leaves or whaterver flying around her head-- that's a cartoon to enjoy.  Love her expression, too-- totally in character....
