I just use a micro-fiber wash rag, warm water.  Then I use the Dr. Denese pads and Hydroshield.

You shouldn't have to use chemicals on your face to get it clean.

Water is a chemical made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen - H2O.

Chemicals get a bad rap, but everything is made up of chemicals -   including you.

You should consider giving them a break.

I can't imagine how else they can  demonstrate how the product works? It is a washcloth with make-up on it. I can think of things more disgusting than that lol..

Yeah this whole thing is getting blown out of proportion. I can't speak for the OP, but my opinion is that a classier presentation would serve the product better. We all have different opinions obviously.

Yes, there are grosser things, I've seen more than my share. Doesn't entice me into watching and buying. But after the response to my Neti pot example, well, 😳😳😳, we can just agree to disagree.

I use Purity face cleanser, while it does a good job at cleansing, and is non-irritating to eyes, it does leave my skin dry.  If it's gentle enough on eyes, then why drying to skin?  Guess I'll have to check out ingredients to find out why.

Purity gives me cystic acne.

I really wish QVC would find another way to showcase their makeup removal products other than having the models wipe their makeup off with a hand cloth and then displaying the gross and disgusting towel to the world. It may be just me, bit I find it totally gross and disgusting, yuck!

I agree.  I have always found that to be disgusting as well.  I will more likely change the channel than buy the product.

Seeing makeup removed on TV would not be a big deal or gross me out.  I have seem much worse in terms of illness, injury, or the disgusting grease traps in the sinks at KFC when I worked there in college. Makeup removal wouldn't even rank on my gross meter.

@AKgirl2

Please read the ingredient deck and then follow up with a little research. Lots of known irritants PLUS all the ingredients that every other skincare line boasts that they leave out! i.e, sulfates, parabens, alcohol, frangrance...the list goes on and on.

thanks, I'm gonna check out ingredients and research it as well. I did just purchase CerAvae for sensitive skin, but haven't used yet.

What do you use?

@AKgirl2

I've been switching up between beekman wipes (I go over my face with a washcloth afterwards) and some borghese products.  I think the important thing with most cleansers is to rinse thoroughly any residue....
