I saw part of a LOGO show a couple of months ago and the Scooby Do character Velma immediately came to mind when I saw Lori. The multiple layers of clothes worn together doesn't appeal to me. To me it looks as if one was putting on as many pieces of clothes as possible in preparation for the impending fashion apocalypse.

Love LOGO clothes. Especially the cardigans and vests. I do admit to struggling with sizing sometimes, because I don't want things to look too baggy. And, I love the pockets - and in fact, I almost consider that a must when purchasing her clothes!

If you haven't looked at and/or considered it, I highly recommend her semi-maxi dress that comes in two colors I think - black and cranberry -- if I am remembering right. I bought the black. It's a high/low but not drastic. It's a simple black sheath-style dress with a scoop neck AND pockets. I'm living in it. Not just to wear out, but to wear around the house. It's devine, especially the fabric which has Modal in it so it's thicker than most of her other clothes.

Anyway as far as demo, I'm 54 and live in the South (but grew up in Northeast).

I tend to agree that for some body types - that's not a good look.

I'm 5' 9"" and have a few pieces of LOGO.

I don't like the vests at all or wear all the layering she does. I love the chiffon trim.

I think having a few pieces is okay. I wouldn't want a whole closet full of them.

I don't care for the layered look at all. Granted, it looked O.K. on the tall, slender models, but I thought it was terribly unflattering on Jane Treacy. My preference runs more to the classic styles that will be around for a while.

What is so confusing? I agree, it is an artsy free-spirited look that is so comfortable. I don't mix all the colors like Lori does, but most times keep it simple and more monochromatic. You can create your own individual look. I can mix and match pieces, roll them in my suitcase and have multiple looks for a week away in a carry on bag. I also love all her pants, they are the best. I am a petite senior (xxs) and love this look.

I'm five 8 and slender. I am not too many years away from menopause. That's the demographic I am.

This is very well said. It is artsy. I love the unstructured look about it.

As with everything, it is not for everyone. So, why do people think it should be? That is what I don't get.

For me, it's LOGO, NOGO!!

I'm almost 80, but that's not the problem. I'm also short - about 5'1" on a good day. Logo might look "acceptable" on a tall, slim person, but not on a shortie like me. And honestly, I think it's a really cheap look. Like you got your clothing at a thrift store & nothing really fits.

I thought it looked awful on Jane Treach and Mary Beth. It's not for me under any circumstances.

I'm pretty sure the LOGO demographic is women who like that style. It's everywhere and has been for several years. Don't pretend you haven't seen it in malls and stores. If you don't like it, don't wear it. And don't watch Lori' s shows. I have several tops, I like the casual, artsy feel and they work well with bold jewelry.
