I think a good rule of thumb for mixing prints is one single print in each piece and maybe keep the colors similar?

I would never put that outfit together, but I think it looks great on her. Love her hair.

I have seen her wear horrendous combos , like bib overalls and a belt..I really don't think she is in the right field. She just doesn't seem to have a knack for knowing when  to stop, or even what suits her figure

I like to mix patterns, especially stripes and florals, but this is a poorly thought out example.  Nothing about this mixes well.
