How's This For Pattern Mixing?

This is a blogger, Beth Dajali who is giving an example of mixing patterns.

I don't think this is a well balanced example because the eye is kept bouncing all around. I do like all of the pieces separately.

When patterns are mixed they're more pleasant if they aren't the same proportion.

I'd do this with denim on the bottom and a sash with the white stripe on the blue around her waist (she likes to wear belts).

She’s so pretty but many of her clothing choices are not flattering.

I kinda like it.  I do like her haircut.  The colors all go together, the bag and the tassel on the blouse and the sandals.  I'd be more boring and wear those pin stripe slacks with a white tee, tucked in and maybe a colored belt.  Oh and my Birks of course.  Woman Happy

@tansy Not to be unkind, but from a style perspective, I think you "hit the nail on the head"!!!

@Andreatoo Love the top for the top, (not on her necessarily).  The pants look like Jagger!

I don’t know her....she’s very attractive....but I don’t like her outfit.  The way she has the top tucked in front makes her belly look “”poochy”.  It’s a cute shirt, but I would never wear it with those stripes.   Either piece would look great on her paired with a solid.   Those are pretty shades of blue.

I like her hair because I have the same style.

I do not like the blouse at all, but if I had to wear it, I wouldn't choose those pants.  She looks so miss matched..even the colors clash.

Maybe she needs cataract surgery...
