How old is too old for leggings, riding boots and a long tunic top, or long cardigan? I love this look and do wear it frequently, however lately I feel that I look silly and I'm not sure it's appropriate for me at age 55.

I think that everyone should wear what they feel good in.... and I see nothing wrong with leggings, riding boots and tunic tops at any age. Remember 55 is the new 30.... {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I think it depends more on your figure than age. Leggings only look good on thin legs.

I think it is much more about the body type than the age. A woman with a good figure and good legs, can wear this outfit and feel comfortable.

There are so many choices today in fashion that there is something for everyone. No one should let age determine their fashion choices because just about everything can be modified.

I think if you look good is such an outfit, why not. I see Jac Del Ollio, she sure looks good in that style.

I know somebody who wears exactly that and is approximately your age... she is tall, has beautiful long hair and she looks FANTASTIC!!! She has long, long legs and she really rocks the riding boots, jeans leggings and long cardi and simply looks fantastic and in no way is out of place. Very understated chic on her!!! WAY TO GO!

As long as you have a figure for it and can carry it off attitude-wise, it has no age.

It depends on your legs, i.e. not too heavy and *not too thin* either.

You certainly don't need anyone's approval to wear what makes you happy. I'm going to be 65 in a couple of weeks, and I've come to realize, the older that I get that....that this life of mine is no dress rehearsal. You enjoy every moment that you can, and don't worry about pleasing anyone else, especially in terms of the superficial....and many things in our life that we spend way too much time being concerned about...are superficial.

This is my first year wearing leggings and I am 54. I bought them at Nordies sale. I like them but need to wear a long top with them. They are comfortable,
