Re: Fashion Favorites (w/e 10/8/22)...

@MacDuFF  I posted on the other boards that I actually have ankle tan lines from wearing pants this summer that are the length in #17 LOL. Again, I think these looks are lovely. I really like the pants in #'s 4 & 15, and the jackets in #'s 1, 9 & 17.

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads! I read them all. I especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

@MacDuFF  This one is easy pass for me.  Even the coat.

Nope not caring for the sneakers or the baggy looking jeans and short sweater.

I would definitely wear the outfit below.  Though I think her shoes could have been a brownish color instead of the black.

 I

No.  I will never wear pleated pants in the tummy area.  Never.

One of the standouts amongst the rest.  This one is nice and chic....

#6  This is nice too.  Love the wideness of the pant, and again wearing the darker color on top (I must try this).

Nope no dresses over skirts for me.  LOL.

Nice

I love this coloring.  This is well put together.

Not practical for me to wear, but I like it on this young lady.

Love the look, but not paired with those jeans.

Yes, yes, yes.  Love the heel with the ankle peeking through.

Cool look (light bottoms darker shoe).

I'm always confused by women wearing sweaters, and wraps with open toed shoes.

Meh??

I have to pass on this one too.

I like this look.  I would have preferred the jean leg be a little longer though.  I'm feeling the colors she put together here.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

@MacDuFF

I really like #2, 4, 5, 6, & 8 because the clothes fit the models so well. (I don't mind an oversized top, but when it's 3 sizes too big, it just doesn't look right to me.)

I'm glad you found a petite model in the mix. I agree the wide pants are the right cut for her frame. She looks terrific!
The outfits this week are classics whether they are casual or dressy. I must be drawn to these types of clothes.
Now I have to look in my closet and pick out something to wear to work tomorrow. 😁

Thanks, MacDuFF!

Wow....I love a lot of them this week.  My favorite this week is #7.  I'm just drawn to this look and it doesn't look like a dress over a skirt to me.  I LOVE the purse and boots too.  My other favorites are #4 (I agree....no pleated pants), #6 and #11.  I love the cape/poncho in #14 but not the rest of the outfit.  I also love the jacket in #17.

Wow that was one of the best I think I have seen.  The only thing that I could not see wearing were the shoes in number 2 and number 17.  The rest are a yes for me!!

[ Edited ]

#2 I have very similar pieces that I've worn together.

#3 Yes to everything, except the shoes. I can't wear most shoes without a heel or backstrap. Those high wedges are an accident waiting to happen for me. 🥴

#5 I've never worn my white tee with my ivory blazer & heels, but I could duplicate this look.

#6 I love black and white.

#11 Yes, @MacDuFF Andreatoo wore a similar top.

I thought of her too. Miss her.

I would like #15 & #17 more if the pants were full length.
