Absolutely gorgeous dress and shoe #1 is perfect, IMO!

Congratulations!

That dress is stunning.I am wondering what type of bra you plan to wear...I have never found a strapless that stayed in place on me.

@dex:   This dress has a "built-in" bra along with boning on the top part of the dress.  I tried it on with and without a bra and decided, along with the consultant, that I could go without one.  That way I not pulling on the strapless bra and fidgeting with it as I am not use to wearing a strapless.  Thank you so much.

Your dress is beautiful!!!

Between the two I would have chosen the slingback shoe (#2) because slingbacks are so attractive and much more comfortable when you are on your feet a lot.  They offer more flexibility per step.  However, since it's a floor length gown, I would not wear slingback for fear the dress would get under your foot and that could get quite tricky, to say the least.  So I agree with shoe #1.

The dress is stunning.  Also agreeing with the neutral shoe.  A plain pump would be my pick.  Lower heel should not matter at all with the length of the gown.   Keep looking.  Go for foot comfort.

@hopi:  Thank you.  I have not found a plain pump that I liked that wasn't at least 3" and that is a deal breaker for me.  Thank you so much.

Your dress is stunning! I love the color! Are you a blonde? I agree with shoe number one, sometimes sling backs can get caught in the hem. Congratulations!

@Mermaid22:  Thank you so much.  My DS's fiancee picked "eggplant" as her colors, and I wanted something in the family.  Her mom is wearing navy so needed to keep it somwhat "darker" than pastel colors.  No, I am not a blonde but a brunette and wondered if it would be too dark on me but absolutely love it.  Great point on slingbacks too.  You all are helping me see things beyond the dress which I am thankful for.

@Caaareful Shopper:  @Reggiesmom also mentioned about the slingbacks getting hung up in the dress, so that was a great mention.   Thanks for your nice comments.

@silkyk:  In my dreams is the only place I could I wear the last pair.  Gorgeous!!! The first pair is kind of what I initially looked for but could only find 3-4" ones.  Thank you.
