loyalty cards

to leave these at home you can get the Keyring app which is easy to use, or just use a phone # at the checkout,  absolutely no reason to drag them all with you

It used to be no handbag.  Then I got a smart phone.  So it became a lug small bag.  Then I got the Samsung 9.  It tells me what to wear.  So now I have medium lug.

I opt for a large bag or no bag.  Sometimes I look at the small bags when I go shopping, but I always think for a few dollars more I can get a big one, so that's what I do.  Smiley Happy

A small cross body most of the time.  Its a weight issue, I'll end up stuffing it and rarely cleaning it out.   When traveling I find a huge bag a necessity, especially when flying.  Then the extra weight is worth it.

Re: Big Hand Bag, Small Hand Bag, NO Hand Bag?

I put my smaller bag in my tote and leave the tote in the car. I love big bags, but I'm too small to carry those big bags, just not a good look IMO. When the Q sells bags, unless I see it on a petite model I don't even consider it. I've seen some of those QVC models in person and they are big sisters.

I commute every day to work, can not use a small handbag.

Perhaps if I could keep more essentials in my car, but not when I am travelling all day long.

Re: Big Hand Bag, Small Hand Bag, NO Hand Bag?

I'm retired so no longer want a big tote to carry a lot of stuff. I like a medium sized satchel and my new D&B zip-zip is the perfect size and weight for me. All I need are a couple of good sized interior pockets for my phone and sunglasses/glasses and a small pocket for my debit card. I carry a PN Gauchy wallet (thin) and a small cosmetic bag for a couple of lipsticks, lip balm, pen and breath mints. When we go to grandsons' football/baseball games I usually switch to a medium size Vera Bradley tote so I can also carry some snacks. For everyday use though, I have never needed more than what I currently carry inside my handbag. I hate digging inside a handbag!

@SeaMaiden   Oh, how I try to downsize.  Doesn’t work for me.  IF I switch to a crossbody for the day, the rest better be in my tote in the car.....I don’t carry the m/u, but just a lipstick, balm.  I have spare make up at work, but I always think I will need something in that tote!  But....I’m still trying to lighten up.

Re: Big Hand Bag, Small Hand Bag, NO Hand Bag?

I remember when I was 18 and my Aunt when to St. Thomas and brought back a beautiful, large black suede bag.  I wore that bag until it died.  Now I have medium size bags and smaller ones.  I bought a Frye leather bag but the price on their bags is high so I had to settle for a small bag; however, I am able to get a lot of stuff in it but still wish it was bigger.  I like my purses to be lightweight because you add a lot to it so I don't want it heavy.
