Bird, it's annoying all the folks overseas who take CS calls. God bless them, they need jobs too -- but they're always so scripted and generally no help at all. It's like they're part of the corporate mission to "get customers off the phone as cheaply as possible." But first you have to listen to the recording, "your call is important to us." Fie!
One reason I've enjoyed owning my Macbook and iPhone, despite being so pricey, is ALWAYS CS is clearly an intelligent, American-born English speaker with some smarts.

I kind of like this coat. Wow, the price dropped $20 since yesterday. I wish the split in the back wasn't so long - the purpose of wearing a longer coat is to cover the rumpus.

Wow, this is a first... AMS on QVC+, with gardening on the main channel. Curious! So if you watch it streaming from their web site, you can't see AMS right?

When I called the number for home phone inquiries, I got Wilson (pretty sure it's not his real name). I told him that sending calls to improperly trained people is not helping ATT's cause here. I also said that I wasn't going to fight over $10 or $15.
It was kind of funny, because I turned into my mother. I asked Wilson - is this call being recorded? He said yes, so I said, Wilson I am not saying the following to you. I want the powers that be to hear me, so it has nothing to do with you okay?
I said, ATT, I'm really getting sick of you pushing me towards U-verse. I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years and I know where you are if I want to change anything.

Love this!! I too find myself saying, when I feel cross with a powerless robot/CS person, "I'm not upset with you, but with this company!"
