@tucka    I am no computer techie, and now that I am retired for closing in on five years I now only use a MacPro laptop, but if you are on Windows try the control key with the F14 key.

Hopefully someone with more computer savvy will come along to help you if this doesn't work.

@tucka  Are you using a Mac or Windows?  Different troubleshooting solutions.  Laptop or desktop?

What have you done to resolve the issue/problem?  Need to know this so the people trying to help you will not suggest something you may have already tried.

If computer is "new," it is still under warranty.  Call them.  Always take full advantage of your warranty before it runs out.

Might be the Scroll Lock is turned on. That's usually found on one of the keys on your keyboard. Just hit that key again and it should turn the scroll lock off again.

If your keyboard doesn't have a Scroll Lock button then try going to your on-screen keyboard and access it from there. Go to Settings and type on-screen keyboard in the search box there.

Caffenia,I have a H.P laptop[17 inch] 6 months old,from QVC,I think I checked something in my settings ,its the keys[or tabs] that have the arrows,I used them to scroll up or down when reading what people wrote,I don't use a mouse.I tried the on screen keyboard and pressed the scroll lock key which turned blue,I felt tht meant it was on,so I pressed it to off,my scroll keys still not working,any suggestions appreciated,Tucka.

@tucka  You're still under warranty.  Call HP

@tucka

Did you try the FN and C keys simultaneously?

@tucka

Hold down the fn key. While holding it down, press the f7 key, then let go of both.

Do the arrows work now?
