@SilleeMee , thank you - your suggestion worked.   Computer just started working again today with the preloaded Windows 10 drive thing.   Hopefully, windows 10 will not have this problem again.

@SilleeMee I spoke too soon. keep getting kicked off of Windows 10 and keep getting the message 'critical process died'.

Could be a couple of things wrong. Maybe a virus. Could also be a driver issue. I would run a virus scan and update drivers. Restart.

Don't know how to run a virus scan without computer having Windows 10 on it.

I don't know either! I'm sure there is a way to do it in 'safe mode' but not sure. Hope someone here can help out.
