I also recommend an iPad. It works well, and syncs with my iMac and iPhone. Apple tech support is superb. It was an easy choice for me.

Buy an IPAD. I promise you you will find it well worth the additional money. I love everything (IPOD, IPAD 2, IPHONE 5, Mini IPOD). They take abuse and keep on ticking.

You can get Adobe Flash. You have to download and install it manually from their site. Then get Dolphin Browser (or any browser that supports Flash) from the Play Store, and turn on Flash Player in the Dolphin settings. I have it on my S3 and Tab 3, and it works great on both.

thanks, i will surely try this. my tekkie son/in/law tried to download something and it didn't work so i will try this one, on my own. that the only complaint i have about my samsung.

Being forced to use iTunes - I'm used to WMP and adding/removing music even on the Shuffle was made much harder by iTunes than it should be. I will never try another Apple product. So what did I get to replace the iPod? Nothing. I sent it back and bought a netbook, which was popular at the time, 3-4 years ago. In place of the Shuffle, I got a cheap Sandisk Clip that I can also watch movies on, should I choose to.

Yeah uh an SD Clip, Net book and windows media player. Yeah that's knowing your way around electronics. Can you recommend a good abacus?

After buying some off brand tablet from Shop HQ, I am though. Gave it to DD, who finally got it running but said the resolution was very poor. These off brands are proliferating and I'm ignoring them all. I'll stick to this laptop for now.

A friend purchased the Haier and asked me to help her set it up. It didn't take long and it's working just fine.

I didn't find it hard to power on. Just use the 3 second hold and it comes to life. Charged without a problem. True, the screen isn't as crisp as an iPad but then I didn't expect it to be. I found it very responsive.

Anyway, my friend is happy and has the 30 days in case it all goes south.

I'm having the same problem first the AC adapter has a short in it so have to use the usb cable. Then the screen was dark sui I kept trying to use power button to turn on and nothing happened had to finally hit the reset button and it turned back on. So disappointed having surgery and wanted it to use at the hospital now I'll be returning it.

Yes, this is our 4th day with the tablet. We loved it at first, but now it wants us to reboot and it keeps coming back to the same screen and won't reboot. I even did a factory reset, which I didn't want to do because I've spent this weekend loading the apps we wanted and getting it all set up.

Now it won't even turn off. I submitted a tech ticket about 3 hours ago and placed a call too and no one has called me back.

unfortunately will be returning it this week.
