I agree. Any of the low budget tablets are junk. Get a Kindle Fire HDX. Beats an ipad in my book!

You can get Adobe Flash. You have to download and install it manually from their site. Then get Dolphin Browser (or any browser that supports Flash) from the Play Store, and turn on Flash Player in the Dolphin settings. I have it on my S3 and Tab 3, and it works great on both.

Not everyone needs an iPad. Frankly, the two Apple products I tried I hated, an iPod Touch and a Shuffle. Returned them both and got exactly what I REALLY wanted for a lot cheaper.

What exactly did you hate about them?

We are all so different. My iPod Touch is my favorite material possession. I can't live without it. What did you get in its place?

During holiday season, I bought a 7 inch Samsung Galaxy 3 as my first tablet and I didn't like it at all. I returned it. I didn't feel it was very responsive or fast enough. The 8 inch is better and more powerful, but at that point I decided to ask for a 1st generation iPad mini as a Christmas gift because it was a good price at Target. No tablet will ever beat a traditional laptop for me, but I've really been enjoying my iPad mini.

Re: haier tablet disappointment

I love my Nook HD! It was only $150, no problems setting up to my wifi, is very fast, the screen resolution is the same as Apple tabs. and other high end tablets, and it never fails my uses. And it is over 8 inches. I bought mine at Target. Added a memory card. I can access Google Chrome. I just added the Turner Classic Movies app, and that works great, 100%. What more could you ask for?!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Re: haier tablet disappointment

The one I checked out had one review and it was dreadful. I didn't look at them any further. Not really wanting a pad that badly, but if and when I do, it surely won't be a Haier. Then again, it also won't be an IPad...

Re: haier tablet disappointment

I too am disappointed and will be returning the tablet. Such poor screen resolution that it gave me a headache. No matter what angle, the text is never crisp. Also experienced the same issues with the touchscreen being poor and unresponsive. Have to tap multiple times to get it to respond. You get what you pay for indeed.
