All of sudden i can't make calls and it goes to Straight Talk customer service . It still has airtime. I have used tracphone for 20 years , with no problems , i don't mind getting new phone or airtime , but i think it might be something else. I know Verizon now owns them , but i don't think that is the problem. Anyone just start having problems over weekend.

@MW in Iowa : No issues for me. Don't know about the straight talk customer service. I hope someone else can help you.

It was my fault , for the first time ever , i ran out of minutes and didn't realize it , no notice from tracphone. My time usually expires before i ever use my minutes up. Lesson learned. Thanks

I have a Tracfone too.  Is there any way to tell how many minutes / texts / data you've used to-date?  I haven't figured that out yet.

You can go to the Play Store and download the free TracFone App. It will show you all the info you want to know. Minutes/Texts/Data and expiration date.

 

When TracFone first started using Smart Phones, this information came with the Icon on the Home Page. All you had to do was open it, and you could see all the info. Why they changed? Probably to save $$$, is my guess.

I have used the Tracfone App  that @hckynutjohn mentioned for a few years now  and easy to use.
