I have used Hallmark card software for many years for greeting cards (especially for my grandchildren).
I installed the original software discs on the laptop I had at the time (2019) that had a disc drive.
Recently, I purchased a new Lenovo PC with no disc drive. I wanted to re-install the Hallmark software.
On the Hallmark Card software carton there's a blurb that it can be installed "disc-less."
I tried to contact Hallmark with the contact info they provided but have had no success.
Can anyone suggest any resource that can guide me through installing this software on my new PC that has no disc drive?

Watching for a reply.....I have an American Greetings disk and used to have so much fun making cards. I'd like to know how to get it on my computer without a disk drive.

Are your original discs older than 2019? If they are there would be no download available for you to install. From what I can see looking at their site, versions prior to 2019 have been discontinued.
If you know someone with a disc drive, I think you could copy the disc files to a USB drive, then plug the USB into your laptop to install them.
Or you could buy an external disc drive to plug into your laptop.

I assume you no longer have your older computer. If by some chance you have it, can you not transfer(move it) to this new Lenovo?
Does Hallmark have a website where you might find a file you can download to install this on your new PC? Other than some type of app you can apply, I can't think of another way.
Maybe gardenman is familiar with how this can be done.

@hckynutjohn Thanks for the suggestion!
I just emailed my computer tech who did the transfer of data from old to new for me to see if he still has it and can transfer the Hallmark software.

@Caffeina Thanks for the suggestion.
The tech who did the transfer from old to new brought up the possibility of purchasing an external disc drive.

Did some googling myself and I found a lot of people saying the Hallmark software no longer works with Windows 10 or Windows 11. (Depending on what version you have).
So even if you could get the software transferred, it may not work on your new computer.

Phone number changed since 2019. So why didn't you go to the Hallmark Card website to obtain an updated phone number for technical help?

There are cards making programs available through the App Store and Play Store. That might be the easiest way to make new cards.

Go to the website and download a copy of the software. Be advised, you'll need an activation key number to make it fully functional. The key number should be included either on the CD, box or paperwork which came with the original software package.
