It's time for my annual renewal for service for the next year.  I was surprised to learn that the 365 day deal is now $125., quite a change from the $49. deal we've had in the past.  Has anyone discovered a cheaper way around this?  Has anyone used the minutes from a cheap phone on their current existing phone?  There's got to be a better way.

There are several Samsung tracfones from $49 up on QVC that include the one year of service.  Have you looked at them?

Try putting a card with minutes in your cart. Then, you'll see an offer to add other items on, including  365 days for $49.99. Add that to your cart. You should be able to delete the minutes card at check out and complete the purchase of the year's service.

Add a minutes card to the cart & that will allow you to see the 1yr,  no minutes $49.99 add on. The site has changed so it was a little harder to find. I have lots of minutes so I always buy the cheapest card & the 1yr add on for my old flip phone. Good Luck.

I put a $5 text purchase in my cart, add the $49 year add on and depending on my need either delete the $5 text purchase or follow thru with year and text.

@kitcat51   @cantdrive55   Yes, they've changed their site.  It's a lot more complex.  I tried adding a minutes card to my cart but never got the $49.99 offer.  I'd buy the cheap new phone if I knew I could use it's minutes/service on my current phone.... don't want to change phones.

Once you add the minutes card to your cart, scan down & you'll  see the add on options...the $49.99 offer doesn't pop up, you'll have to look for it in the cart. Find it?

@kitcat51    Thanks, I finally got it, although I couldn't tell you how or duplicate the process.  Now I'm good for another year.  Thanks all for your help.

You're welcome...it really is a great way to save money. I'm glad I saw your thread because I forgot my service ends in a week so I renewed too. Be well.

I renew my tracfone every year around November or December, even though my year is up in May. I always find discount codes for $50 off that $125 price. It's not as cheap as your $49, but it's the cheapest I could find.

I just search for tracfone coupon codes.
