I AM SICK OF QVC PAGES LOADING SLOWLY IN EXPLORER 11. I HAVE AN HP PAVILLION WITH 8.1. IT'S THREE MONTHS OLD. 8 GIGS OF RAM, 1T HD, AMD 10. I also have both browsers set up to use, Explorer 11 is my default, but I also have Google Chrome. I can only send desktop shortcuts in Explorer, so I often enter with it. I can only send emails of webpages in Explorer, through email with Windows Live Messenger. This is why I often enter the net with Explorer instead of Chrome. Does anyone else have this issue. My laptop is always fully updated with McCaffee, Microsoft and HP.

I don't know if this is related to your problem but HP has a display program that eats up 100% of memory while running. I always have to stop the program from the task manager/performance/resource monitor. I googled this program and I guess a lot of people have problems with it. Some HP customer reps know about this problem but others don't. Once this program is disabled then everything speeds up. So check your task manager. Gail

IE is awful. We switched over to Macs.

My problem with Explorer is all the computer glitches. It can be very finicky.

It is not your computer. Clear your history and see if that helps. AdBlock with McCafee anti-virus slows things down a bit. Switch to another browser. Google and G Mail work great for me.

I'll third that.
Mindy D, as gilmoregirl suggested, have you checked your Internet connection? I've had no problems with the Q pages loading slowly (but I do use a Mac and I never use IE).
I always suggest everyone keep something like Speedtest.net bookmarked to be sure there's not a problem with the download/upload speed (link goes to: http://www.speedtest.net/).
They also have a great app for mobile devices, Ookla Speedtest (link: http://www.speedtest.net/mobile/)

This web site has a tendency to have issues with scripting errors. If you disable Javascript you may find the pages loading much more quickly. Here's a link to how to disable Javascript in IE.

My QVC pages were slow when I had Windows XP. I just got a Windows 7 Dell and use Google Chrome and it runs so much faster. I would check cookies and make sure you are doing any system maintenance if that is offered in your computer or anti-virus program.
