I am new to Window 8.1 and going to find a book next week to learn more about this OS. I may start with a Dummies series guide, and move up to something more interesting. I want to know what makes 8.1 tick.

You can send links with other browsers, but you need an email client/program. With Chrome you also need to add an extension.

First thing I check on when I have any speed problems is my broadband speed. It does vary at times. I now have a 8.50Mbsp speed and I use Firefox. I have IE 10.0.9200 version but I very rarely use it. I've tried almost all of them including Google Chrome and Firefox works the best for me.

While QVC does load slow for me at times it really isn't that slow on my end.

You probably need to upgrade your internet service. Your ISP can provide faster service - at a price of course.
