Congrats and enjoy. Well worth the money spent (IMO). It works the way they say it will, and when you want it to work. Also congrats to Frostybabe on your upgraded toy.

A question about charging..when I got my iPad and set it up it was almost 90% charged. When should I charge it?..How low do you let it get? When I do charge it can I plug it in at night at bedtime and charge it that way..will it over charge and stress the battery...Thanks ...DW

My GS and myson both told me I never have to turn it off ,it will just go to sleep and wake up when I use it.I always keep it plugged in when I'm not using it. I don't know how to turn it off.

I turn mine off occasionally. I read at the Apple support site to charge when the battery gets to 20%. I also don't keep it plugged in per Apple. To turn it off, hold down the home or round button until a red message appears to shutdown.

Thanks for the replies...The iPad is really pretty easy to navigate around. I'm amazed how easy and fast it is...I think it would be easier for an inexperienced person to use than learning a computer....DW
