@Pecky I don't have this model, but I did buy one similar to it, same brand, detachable keyboard. This is the worst hunk of junk, I am sorry I purchased it. Save your money!

I agree with @Jordan2

I swear by Apple tablets. Great products. The iPad rocks. Take a look at how many satisfied iPad users there are in the ratings and in the Electronic forums here. My laptop is just sitting, unused, for months. Using an Apple iPad reduces the risk of viruses. You can also call or text anyone with a device made by Apple for free worldwide. You can get your emails in it. You do not need to pay for wireless services with it. I use mine on WiFi only, so no monthly fee. I watch Netflix on it, Directv on it, YouTube on it. I pay bills on it. I have MS Word and other productivity apps too. It had a pretty good camera. I bought one that holds tons of data. Don’t waste your time with cheaper imitations. There is a range of iPads on the Apple Store and they sell at different price points.

Only you can decide what device is best for you.  I don't like tablets and never use one.  My favorite computer is a 27" desktop because I love the big screen.  My least favorite is my phone.  The nice thing, computers are so afordable, you can have multiple devices depending on your needs.

I would not order any device on a shopping channel they sell older models and bloated software that  you would never need or use. I have a chromebook  two fire tablets and a smart phone I use all of them. It depends on your needs.

I have a convertible laptop-tablet. I use the laptop because I like having a keyboard. I also have a desktop but no smart phone. I like using the laptop while sitting in my recliner and my desktop at my desk where all my paperwork and mail stuff is located. Both have their purpose in my lifestyle.

@SilleeMee   Did you know you can use a keyboard with a tablet?  I have a tablet with my iPad.  I rarely, if ever, use it, and not even sure I have it charged right now, but keyboards for tablets are avilable and expensive.  I had to use one for work.  That is the only reason I know.

@SilleeMee   You are aware that I have MS.  With it came the difficulty of finger/hand dexterirty.  The tiny, built-in keyboards are difficult for my use.  So, when I was working and found it necessary to use tablets, I required one of these keyboards.  That is the only way I knew.  ;-)

I understand and I am, too, living with a AI condition scleroderma. My hands are severely deformed and I need a good sized keyboard to type on. Good thing is I can still hold a fork and a knife!!Woman Very Happy
