I have tablets including the Nook branded one. I like the eink especially when reading outside. On a tablet I have to push up the brightness  level outside. I rather have an ereader in oublic for i am always worried my tablet will get stolen. I am in the inner ity and shady  people all over lol

Very true, you can't read outside on a tablet - but I don't at this time in my life, so not an issue for me. Once upon a time my Kindle was with me every day at work. I'm now retired, so not necessary for me to take anywhere. I use my phone for short-term entertainment.

I have the $49 kindle tablet and its junk. never wants to connect to wifi, I have samsung galaxy s2  that I use to wach tv and netflix in bed. For some reason a show playing as I sleep helps me sleep.  I have the nook branded tablet. The new A  model 7 inch and its pretty good. you need an sd card for storage is so small.  its 8gb  most taken up by software.   think they assume you only need 4gb for books like the ereader and not take into account the other stuff we do on a tablet but getting an sd card was no big deal.  Now I will read on the tablet if I think I will need wifi access  as well  such as reading at a library or at a public place. Like if I go to starbucks I will read on a tablet  and  use the internet as needed.  I am a tad embarrassed at the devices I own. lol  Way to many lol
