How often does your internet go down?
Mine has gone down for at least a minute to 15 minutes each time and it has happened six times in the past 2-1/2 weeks. Is that normal??

I don't think so, our cable only goes down during a bad thunderstorm.
We have Comcast Xfinity.

@SilleeMee That is NOT normal! I would contact your ISP and see if they are working on equipment in the area, or some other issue! Sounds like a service call is in order!👍 I hope you can get this resolved soon!😊

@SilleeMee Never
You should call your ISP or who ever is your internet carrier to find out what is going on.

I have Xfinity, too. Thinking about switching to some other ISP.
ETA-
I also keep track of the speed (mbps) throughout the day and that fluctuates terribly in the mornings when it goes down.

Could it be a hardware problem with your wifi? Ours occasionally needs to be unplugged and rebooted.

I checked it and I reboot my router often. Strange thing that my internet only goes down mid-mornings and never in the afternoons or at night. To me it appears to be something on their end, like maintenance or network tweaking.

@SilleeMee It does sound like it is them then, and good luck getting them to admit it! We have Spectrum, and practically the whole East Coast has to be down before they admit anything is wrong on their end.

@SilleeMee. I have Century Link, not known for its speed or agility. I know a lot of people in Colorado also have it. Mine just plods along but almost never goes down. We have little choice; the alternative is worse.

@Bookplate @SilleeMee I noticed that once or twice in the past few months. First thing in the morning I reboot the router and it's ok.
