I have an older iPhone but use a Moshi wallet and really like it. It has slots to carry credit or gift cards as well as a place for cash. Has protected my phone when dropped. Mine sticks to the wallet & cannot be removed easily but looks like newer models are detachable when you want to slip phone in your pocket or very slim purse.

I know what you mean.  I was in a store and took my phone out to show a coupon and the darn thing slipped out of my hand and landed face down on the floor.  It was a heart stopping moment for me because my phone was new.  I had been using the hard plastic Apple case which was expensive.  But it's slick.  So I bought a case from Amazon that works much better.  I'd buy it again in a second.  It's called ESR Air Armor and about $10.

It's silicon so I have a good grip.

@Scooby Doo thanks for the info.  I have a question for you.  I believe I saw your recommendation on AMZ.  Reading the description, I think it's the case only.  Did you also purchase a screen protector.  Info would be appreciated.  Thanks.

@coffee drinker Yes, the case is separate.  I bought a screen protector separate but I don't remember the brand.

@Scooby Doo   I did purchase 2 of the brand you recommended and they include 2 screen protectors each.  With coupons, both were approx $27 which included tax.  They're coming today.  Thanks for your info.
