I got the alerts on both my cell & TV.  However, after the TV alert, I had to call good ole Spectrum who had to do a remote reboot.  Spectrum is the biggest sham of a company I have ever dealt with.  They aren’t even capable of handling an Emergency Alert!

@Nightowlz  I didn't have to click on anything, and I can still use my phone.  The message now shows up under my emergency alerts, along with the weather alerts, etc.

I just put the battery back in my phone & the Alert came in again. What a pain in the rear.LOL!!!

Both my husband and I got one at the same time and then one came across the TV.  I was aware of it as I heard it was going to happen when I watched the news last night.

I had no idea they were going to do this. I don't watch the News. I get to ticked off. My doctor told me if I get like that it's best not to watch. LOL!!!

I generally don't turn on the TV until after DH gets home from work.

You are fine @Nightowlz, as long as you don’t have Spectrum!

I received the alert without any issue.Presidential Alerts are the only type that can't be opted out of, but will only be used for national emergencies. That is my understanding.
