@teainlondon, if you would like to download Google Chrome to use as your browser (I have found Google Chrome to be better than Internet Explorer), just type in your address bar "Google Chrome Free Download", hit Enter, and you can open up a site to download Google Chrome for free.  Just follow the download instructions on the site. You can save the download to your Desktop so when you first turn on your computer, an icon for Google Chrome will appear on your desktop.  You can open Google Chrome from there.  hth.

Make sure you download it from the Google.com site, not just any site that pops up in the results. If you download it from another site, you might also get a virus or malware. Best to download from official sites.

@teainlondon- you are welcome.  if you would like to switch to Google  I personally prefer them to Internet Explorer.  Do you have a techie close by to assist you with the downloads if you're not comfortable in doing it by yourself.  It's not too difficult but everyone's comfort zone is different.
