Amazon products have an Amazon operating system.  Neither android nor apple.

You need to sideload load the Google Play store to run apps. 

 

I used a web site and YouTube channel. SimplySmart123. Com. You can install the Google Play store in 4 easy downloads. 

 

Amazon app store has many great apps so you can download from there.
