Mima -- After reading your post, I had to ask my Alexa if she could loan me money. She replied "I am not a bank". I just love her!!

For me, Echo is great! I have over 8,000 songs on my Amazon cloud and I can have Alexa play any of them within seconds. Her ability to find the right song and play it on command is very impressive. I mostly use her as a music player and she's brilliant at that. I'll ask her what day it is, or what temperature it is from time to time, but I'm not a big Q&A guy with her. As a music player though, she's amazing. The speed she can find the song/artist I want to listen to and get it playing is very impressive.

I agree! I am amazed with this feature. With so many free songs through prime...there really isn't many songs I can think of that Alexa can't find and play for me within seconds. I like Alexa!

Everybody must have gone and linked their pandora account today. Pandora played for a little while then Alexa said she was having trouble reaching pandora ( but not iheart) but now it's back on.

I'm so happy about Pandora. It's my favorite music site.

It's nice being able to use Pandora directly now. I streamed it through my smartphone on a few occasions using Bluetooth, but this is easier.

As far as I know there are only two choices right now which are Alexa or Amazon. Since she has a woman's voice, Alexa is the sensible choice for me. Amazon doesn't sound too feminine. I think down the road we will have more choices.

I still love my Echo! It's going to be interesting to see what Amazon has in store for the coming holiday season. I'm guessing Echo will be one big offering, but will it be the same Echo or a new version? Maybe multiple versions? Maybe they'll have some new Kindle Fires? (I think it'll be two years come September since they updated them.) Maybe an Amazon based Cloud computer? A Fire Watch? Amazon's been pretty busy the last few years with their Fire TV, Fires, Kindles, Fire Phone, and Echo. So what's coming next? It'll be fun to see.

I can't wait to receive my Echo. I kept requesting an invitation and then not checking my email, lol. I knew I was on my last chance and I got it. Glad to hear ppl are enjoying it.
