Happy Birthday Krimpette!

I love my Echo. she's off in the living room playing music for me while I putter on the computer. Her potential is pretty impressive, even if she's somewhat limited at this moment.

Gardenman, thanks for the good wishes. I agree about the potential for the Echo, which was my main reason for getting one! I've really enjoyed "her" anyway, just as she is!

My Echo came today and I'm already really impressed with it. It's fun asking questions, getting the weather, news, temperature. I'm surprised I don't have to speak loudly at all and it hears me. Most of all, I like that I can get music to play. Today I asked it to play Mozart and I listened for over an hour. Wonderful!

Can someone tell me what iheartradio is and should I sent up an account? I know it says I can connect my Echo account with it but I'm not sure what the benefits of it are. Thanks!

It is a radio station. you can play it with an app or from your computer. I use the Echo app to turn on Tune in radio, and play smooth jazz. You can use the app and not signup with an email address. http://www.iheart.com/

You can also tell iHeart radio your favorite singers and iHeart radio will create a radio station for you playing songs by that artist and people similar to that artist. I'm listening to my Linda Eder iHeart radio station at this moment that's currently playing Kristin Chenowith singing a song from ""Wi*cked"".

I got a survey about what I thought of my Echo from Amazon today. I hope they take the feedback they get to make improvements to her.

I also got the survey. It was hard for me to answer some of the questions since I've only had it for a week.
