Hello,

So I ordered an engagement ring on 12/21, a few hours before the guaranteed delivery for orders to arrive on Christmas Eve expired. My EDD is still 12/24, but no tracking number has been provided. I called customer service, and they think it was shipped out, but it hasn’t been updated on the site. The order still says “in process”. Does anyone have any experience with this? I’m planning on proposing tomorrow and people will be coming over, so needless to say I’m freaking out. I should mention I paid extra for the “Premium Delivery”. Thanks!

Re: Shipping question- HELP!!

I wish I had a better answer,  please call customer service asap and ask to speak with a supervisor and demand an answer from them. good luck and congrats on your engagement.

Thanks. I guess I will try and call again. I’ve read on
Here that some orders people have made with premium delivery they didn’t get the tracking info and the item just showed up

Re: Shipping question- HELP!!

Can’t really help you with the shipping Q.

But speaking as a woman and someone with life experience, let me assure you, you can still ask for your lady’s hand as you are planning. If she says YES, you can promise her the ring to follow. Not everyone presents a ring on bended knee like in the movies. Some couples get engaged by their agreement and commitment and then go ring shopping together. Or the ring is offered once the betrothal is understood.

I think, if the ring doesn’t arrive timely, you spare yourself embarrassement. I might advise that you go ahead with the romantic proposal and not make any mention that you selected a ring unseen except on TV from a shopping channel, and then waited until just 3 days before the big Ask to order it. It undoes the image of a heartfelt, long-planned notion of commitment and hope. Impulse and lateness getting done the details is not overly romantic. Even if payingbextra for faster shipping! Women are willing to enjoy the surprise of a ring arriving in due time (soon is OK, if not immediately) when they know the important part is being loved and wanted in lifetime partnership.  You are offering your love and loyalty, not a ring. The ring is a symbol. The proposal is what counts.

Plan well the words of your proposal and the right time to say them.  Shipping will take care of itself. Good luck!

Yeah I get what your saying. This wasn’t a last minute thing. I had another ring purchased and long story short, was scammed by a small town place around here. Your right, it will work itself out. Thanks.

Re: Shipping question- HELP!!

Email I received back from the Social team:

“At this time, there is no delay for your order. It should arrive about 12.24.18. The order can ship at any time to arrive by the EDD. When your order ships, you will receive an email to track the shipment. If for some reason, your order does not arrive on time, we are very sorry and you will be reimbursed for your shipping cost.”

Re: Shipping question- HELP!!

She just emailed me back and said she doesn’t think the order has shipped yet. I’ve received 3 different answers today. I’m confused !

I don't think CS is going to be of any help but it doesn't hurt to ask. I hope the ring arrives...Best Wishes!
