@sarahpanda wrote:@Kachina624 I don't get return labels from Amazon - yet the return process is much easier and the refund is pretty near instant when I make my return at the UPS store.
QVC has the same exact process.

@sarahpanda. I find the Amazon return process a big pain, having to drive to the UPS store and wait in line.

@Kachina624 ....I've never, not once in my life, had to wait in the line at the UPS store....I live in a populated area and we have several UPS stores available. As far as driving to the store, it's in my area so no biggie there either.

@Kachina624 I have this problem, too. The UPS closest to us does not do the code method and the next closest one is extremely busy with a very small parking lot. You have to drive around a few minutes before you can even find a place to park. If it's a bigger box and you have to park way out....well, I can't do it anymore and DH often wasn't happy about doing it. The fights just weren't worth it anymore!

@Sooner wrote:If I have to return anything (today it was a couple of LL Bean shirts a little small for husband) I immediately go online and fill in the online return form if there is one and print a label.
Sometimes I get my refund as soon as the item is scanned, and the retailer and I know where it is and that it has been sent when it is scanned. Easy easy easy!
If you shop online, you need a printer, even an inexpensive one. Everyone online pretty much has to have a printer.
@Sooner Yes. I am a big fan of the way LL Bean does it! I ordered a quilt from them recently and so glad I liked it. That would have been a monstrosity to carry it in if I hadn't kept it. I try to keep up with things but our printer died and I really didn't use it for much but labels so I can't justify spending the money on a new one.

@jubilant We use our printer almost daily because we have forms to print and fill out, faxes to send, receipts to copy and file, recipes to print, lists, instructions, etc. etc. We use it all the time.
We also take care of my mother's affairs and that's a ton of printing too. We are at the point where we couldn't function without it now.

@Sooner You make a valid point!

I would think it wouldd cost QVC more to have to wait for people to get return labels to return something than to enclose them . It would be faster returns and less having to call C.S to get a label! QVC no longer has good customer service!Elderly people will not continue to buy from them ! The prices are higher and the shipping cost too much anyway! Amazon will shut you down!! Temu will shut you down!
