I understand but without warning?

Another reason to not use the Q-card.

I had one in the past, couldn't wait to pay it off.

Now here I go again.

I schedule my payment about a week in advance on my QVC card.    I am never late.   Then I get a letter in the mail that I owe $___ right now to cover the Easy Pays coming due.    The amount I owe is about twice what I had scheduled for my regular payment.    So I make the payment they requested but I had been pro-active in watching my statements & I knew where I stood on purchases & payments & couldn't understand the problem.

When I got my next statement I found out why, they had hit my account for TWO easy pays in one month, which matched the amount mentioned in the letter.   The EP items were for payments #3 & #4, not duplicates.    So while I had to fork over more money than I had budgeted at least that item is fully paid for.   It was a 4 month EP.

Like everything else, watch your statements carefully.

I think I remember seeing a disclaimer somewhere that this could happen--it's possible for two ez payments to be billed in one credit card cycle.

And sometimes they skip a month.

I knew that I had approximately $30 in easy pays coming up on my next statement.    So I scheduled a payment of $35.   I also "pre-paid" my most recent WEN purchase.    So this month I've paid well over $100 on my account.

Now I'm getting hounded for my final payment on a bracelet - $28.    I am not over my credit limit and I've already sent in over $100.     So they get another $28 on top of it all.   I will pay it off.    ANd pay in full each month if I do use it and no more Easy Pays.

@software

Sorry, but I can't answer any of your questions.  I don't pay my bills online like that, so I have no idea how any of that works.  Maybe someone else can help you out.

I'm not asking for any help.

I'm just relating my experience.

By Synchrony making me pay MORE than my statement requires, it gets me out from under them quicker.

Why do you think QVC promotes the credit card so much?  It makes a lot of money for them!  I would NEVER consider their credit card!   The whole thing sounds shady to me.

Re: QVC Credit Card problem

[ Edited ]

I use the q card and know exactly what my bill will be when the month closes.  I monitor my q account and my q cc account.  I haven't had any overcharges.  I don't use easy pay often, but when I do I know exactly when the payments come due.  It's no different than if I used my visa.

I am not following this at all, was an easy pay charged before it should of been or was the charge a duplicate of a charge from another card. Can someone please clear this up. I am sorry a single post and NO follow up is a huge red flag for me.
