In a thread, I asked for directions how to refill a travel size of a Chavez product.

Is there an icon above that I can use to print the reply that gave me those instructions? If not, can that feature be added? There are many times we receive the names of products, item #s, etc. & it'd be helpful to print that reply and a have a copy to reference.

Thank you.

You can take a screen shot of the page and print that I am not sure if you can print directly from the BB

This is sure to be a dumb suggestion if viewed by those who are tech savvy Smiley Embarassed, but here's what I do:  I highlight the message I want to copy and paste it to an e-mail to myself.  The added benefit for me is I always have that e-mail available to look back on.

@Krimpette  That's insulting. My teachers used to say "There are no dumb questions. How else can you learn?"

You can do the same thing - copy and paste - and put it into a word document.

IMO you have a good solution.

Re: PRINTING A REPLY?

[ Edited ]

Hi, @Shanus!   In addition to the helpful comments here, I wanted to add that there's a feature on the site that converts a thread to a more printer-friendly format.

When you open a thread, just above the original post and to the right of the word "REPLY" there's a drop-down menu called "Topic Options."    One option is "Printer Friendly Page."   Or look at the 3-dot drop-down menu on each reply and choose "Print."  Once you switch to that, you can copy and paste  -- or you can use your browser's or computer's print option to print the page or create a document (which you can edit before printing).

It's not an elegant format, but it does make it easier to get a copy in something closer to a plain text format.

I'm usually on my desktop or my laptop, so I just right click and it brings up the print option.

I've always felt there are no dumb questions, too, @Shanus.   I hate for anyone to feel even the slightest bit embarrassed for asking anything.   I've spent years teaching people to use computers, email, etc., and it's better to encourage all questions because inevitably there's someone who can learn from the exhange.image.gif

Editing to say, my apoligies to @Krimpette.❤️ I misread your comment and I can see now (after your newer post) that I made a mistake.   You didn't say dumb question -- you said dumb suggestion, which it wasn't.   I'm sorry.
