@Jannabelle, starting a thread to ask why a thread was deleted is usually considered challenging the moderation. Those who *do* know better also claim to not be aware, not understand, 'but I was only...' and the like, so if you questioned a deletion, the moderators pretty much have to treat all the same in that regard.

Same with starting an almost-identical thread, mentioning a deleted thread, mentioning the deletion, and carrying on with a new thread. We have had people start 3-4 "same" threads in under an hour, deliberately, just to taunt the moderators. They would not know you aren't doing the same.

The best advice I could give, when something you feel shouldn't have been deleted IS deleted - let it go. Complaining and challenging isn't going to change anything, and not understanding won't help in their eyes because pretending innocence and not understanding happens here daily.

@Moonchilde.....thank you so much for your  kindness....I have not really posted since the change to this way,...it was totally different before.....I will let it go,...but it does not endear me to QVC, nor does it make me want to shop there....but I do like many of the posters here......so thank you again for being kind..,,

        Hi, @Jannabelle!   I think @Moonchilde's advice was very good.  I would add that if you do want to ask about specific decisions the moderators have made, they've posted their email address many times.  

        It's:   QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com.  They usually are very willing to read our questions and concerns and respond that way as opposed to discussing it in a thread.   hth!   Have a lovely Tuesday!

@dooBdoo?...Thank you..,..I honestly had no idea it was offensive to ask why.on the board.......I noticed another question and I just thought it was ok......I truly have not been here since they changed over, .,,it was just not worth it to try and figure it all,out,,.but then I decided to check and see who was left and here I am,lol....

Yours wasn't offensive, but sometimes they can go that way.  Usually the ones that get deleted are calling out the mods about their action not asking about it.  There is a big difference.

        @Jannabelle, I agree with @debic.    Your inquiry wan't at all offensive.    Those of us who've been fairly active on the forums since the new platform launch have seen some really clamorous, belligerent theads/posts demanding that the moderators explain why something was removed.   And it was with some frequency, too, and to be fair to the Q Team the standards state they can remove whatever they deem a violation, so they don't really "owe" an explanation, and I can understand why they can't address everyone who asks.   Even so, it's been helpful (to me, at least) to see their reasons so I have a better idea what's okay here and what's doomed for the circular file.

i think one thing that puzzles me is that this board represents a business....it's not like a generic board about someone's hometown...or a beauty board,....or a hobby board....it represents a business that I would think would want all the good thoughts it can get.......so  I guess maybe that is why I thought it might be a good idea to just ask, instead of wondering about something.....but it's all good.....thanks again.   :  ).
