I had a $40 promo credit for opening a Qcard account. I placed an order, the credit was automatically used, the item did not work out and was returned.  The $40 credit is forfeited once you return an item used on a credit.  I've never heard of anything so stupid, or misleading. I cancelled the card, and am cancelling my QVC account. If truth be told, I don't think I've ever ordered anything from here that I didn't have to return, wasn't overpriced, or regretted purchasing later. Good riddance.

Sorry, but that info is clearly stated in the terms for these offers.

Your fault if you didn't read the terms, no one else's.

Anytime I've ever used coupons or credits with other retailers, if I return the purchase, the credit/coupon is always forfeited.

I don't have a Q card - so don't know the rules - but doesn't seem fair nor honest to NOT receive that money/credit back on your card.

Have you called QVC for help?   I certainly would.

That does not sound fair to me either.  I don't and won't have a Q card.  I guess anyone who wants to use that credit better buy something they are sure they won't return, like SOCKS or something!

@fthunt

Regardless, it IS stated in the terms that if you use the credit on an item, then return the item, you forfeit the credit.

Can you imagine the cost involved to keep track of all of that?  Computer programming costs aren't cheap!

It would cost ALL of us buyers more, by increasing QVC's costs, which would naturally be compensated by an increase in prices.

Any business would.

it has nothing to do with the QCARD and you get all the money you paid back (except for your shipping/return shipping if there was nothing wrong with the item.)

this is a Q account credit, NOT a QCARD credit when it is used.

the terms are clearly stated in the fine print when you apply for the card and get the credit.

@fthunt

If it's clearly stated in the rules of the promotion what purpose is there in calling CS?

You're fault for not taking the time to read.  It's your responsibility.  You would expect $40 back when there was no $40 out of your pocket?????  That's wrong.  You're wrong.
