I didn't think that UPS delivered packages to a PO Box.

You can have UPS send items to a PO Box - just use the Post Office address as the address it goes to and put who the package is going to; this is how I have stuff sent to my Brother so it doesn't get stolen off of his front porch.

When the items get to PO, they know which box is my brothers and leave him a package notice or if a small package will put in his box.

I also use my P.O. Box. If the item is too big for my box they either put it in a locker or put a card in my box that I have a pick up. I recently had an item showing delivered when I checked the status on QVC. After a few days of nothing showing up at the post office I emailed QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com.  They were very nice and said they were crediting my account. 10 days later I received the package and I emailed them again that I received

I recently had a handoff from UPS to USPS. USPS said they never got it; however, UPS listed who they handed the package off to. QVC gave me a credit, but USPS couldn't care less and has the worst service. It's a gamble as to whether a package will actually show up.  Seems it would be cheaper for QVC to pay higher shipping costs of UPS than having to credit lost packages by USPS. They only have to credit me an easy pay, but they incur the loss of the full cost of a product.

@Mimichic   It's usually not USPS that loses packages.  It's the "shipping partner" that delivers packages from UPS to the post office.  Lots of times they misdirected packages and the post office never gets them.  They also make up riduculous messages that you see on tracking to cover themselves.

Speaking for my local UPS people--they don't misdirect packages when they are shipped to be "delivered by USPS".  I was told by the USPS that once the package is turned over to them from UPS or FEDEX or whoever, the USPS has 4 to 5 days to deliver it to the recipient.  Personally I've never lost a package due to UPS.  So--bottom line---don't blame anyone without more proof.

I have had this problem more than once. Easy to track with UPS...but once they give it to USPS for delivery, the pkg disappears. Don't always know when you order if USPS will end up with it, even if it says UPS will ship it. I hope your pkg is located. I have a Christmas present I ordered for SIL on Nov 6. It is a dated daily devotional book. This morning when I called again to check on it, I was told it was " in the port". USPS said " we are no longer able to assign a tracking number to this order".

@DesertD  I'm with you on this one. Never had a problem with USPS. Once a package is turned over to them, I have ALWAYS received it the next day. Hope it continues.

Don't know if it depends on where one lives.
