Re: Looking for a ship date for an advanced order

FYI...I jsut asked that same thing in a chat with customer care. They said they "ran out and are trying to get more" (yes, even though it was already an advance order in the first place), but if they don't get them in the next 2-3 weeks, the order will be cancelled. I told the rep that they're showing as in stock on KitchenAid's site (of course, for more money). So basically if you really need it/want it, pay up the extra $$ and get it from KitchenAid or keep hope alive that QVC will actually be able to get the order fulfilled.

Re: Looking for a ship date for an advanced order

@ToothCarpenter - Mine says backorder also.  I emailed the social team and they said backorders ususally take 2-3 weeks to ship.  Hopefully we will actually "GET" our order.  Good luck!

Re: Looking for a ship date for an advanced order

I received an email this morning about the back order status. When I placed my order the item/ color was in stock, just shipping at a later date but now they don’t have enough quantity?!? What kinda of BS is that? I understand the cargo delay but this is like airlines overselling seats. Shame on QVC and their item counter! 😡

Re: Looking for a ship date for an advanced order

@ToothCarpenter - I received another email stating that this KA food processor is not available for immediate shipment (duh! we know that).  If the item becomes available they will ship it or they will cancel the item if they can't. The item # for this item changed to K52002.  What in the world is going on?  Why can't they level with us and tell us the truth whether it will be available or not?  I am so fedup with this whole process.  Because I live in California it took me 4 times trying to order this product as QVC kept telling me it was a QVC issue because my state has a Prop. 65 warning.  I have a $60.00 discount on my order and don't want to lose it.  I've tried to find it but no one has the almond creme (QVC exclusive) and the price is $249.99.

I have this feeling it will never be available for us.

What do you think?

It’s not looking good. I ordered red. I thought TSV’s are decided months ahead so unless the shipping container fell overboard (it happened to a friend’s custom window shutters) they should have the items. False advertising

Re: Looking for a ship date for an advanced order

In case it is helpful, a status of "Backorder" means the product is on its way but has not yet reached a warehouse where it can be processed and shipped to customers. This is not like a "Waitlist" order where they hope they can possibly get more in the future—with a backorder, the inventory has been secured and QVC plans to fulfill all orders. With all the logjams in the ports right now and issues with trucks getting loads across the country, delays are likely, but hopefully you'll get your orders soon. FWIW, I've eventually received every order I've had that went to "Backorder" status. Good luck!

@loriqvc - You have made me feel a little more hopeful that I will actually get my food processor.  Thanks for the info.  I hope you're right!

Have you not seen the ports? I'm sure QVC, along with thousands of vendors, would like nothing more than to fulfill your order. It's not QVC  Call the White House and ask how important your Order is. 🙄

Re: Looking for a ship date for an advanced order

@HonestLife - I am well aware of the Ports as I live in the Los Angeles area.  If QVC was going to offer an Advance Order with a ship week date, the product shoud have been secured to fulfill the orders.

This port issue has been going on long before the KA food processor was the tsv on 9/16.  If there was going to be a ship date issue, it should have been mentioned on air.  I am willling to wait, I would just like QVC to level with me.  I have been given so many different answers, it is frustrating.
