@SweetSydney - You may want to create a new thread to get answers to your question—most of this one is from December 2017, which means the moderators may lock it due to it being outdated and your question not being the same as the original post.

As a starting point, though, from what the moderators have clarified in the past, the status of "Back Order" means QVC is planning to receive more stock but doesn't have a defined date for its arrival yet. In combination with the message you received, it sounds like there's a chance you may get your item but no guarantee at this point. (This is very different from a wait list order, which is a "who knows if we'll get more inventory but it's a vague possibility" status.) Good luck!
