I just placed an order for the KitchenAid stand mixer 535 WATTS on clearance for $299, Grenadine..  David has been showing this mixer over the past few weeks.  I decided to take the plunge today and now it is on backorder. What a bummer.

@Fiero Woman  Unfortunately, if the item/order converted to a backorder status, it cannot be fixed.  Usually it takes 2-3 weeks for a backorder to return to stock.  You will be notified by email if you have one on file.  I hope this helps.

It is the color that is at issue here...if you wish to change your order to the black storm we could send it out. I am sorry but a backorder means that the vendor overestimated the amount of grenadine they provided us with...

Thanks Beth.  On backorder, who knows.  I also ordered one for my daughter, hers is waitlist.  Maybe with fingers crossed.  We both have our 325 Artisan Stand Mixers but sugar plums (KitchenAid bowl lift dancing thru out heads.  Wish us luck.
