@hennypenny wrote:Thanks again everyone. I am going to check into all of your suggestions.
Basically what I need are a two quart, a three quart and a small stock pot. that have the non stick. I have big stainless stew pots, and the le creuset dutch ovens.
September, I live up on the hill. Do you come here often?--yes, they are very nice at the store here. We were at Paseo Nuevo yesterday shopping, and heading back again to go to Nordies tomorrow. Will check out the store then.
@hennypenny I visit about 3 times a year. My daughter is a student there. she did some pet sitting up in the hills, and said it was a beautiful neighborhood!

My almost twenty year old cooks essentials have bitten the dust. Two pans ended up in recycling this week.
I have been looking here at all of the sets offered and am totally confused.
What do you have, do you love it or hate it?
help!
You just missed the Copper pan bonanza on Sunday !

I have Emeril's All Clad cookware - bought the whole set at BB&B for about $130, over 20 years ago and they are just as new as the day I got them. The food slides off and the lids are glass. I love them. I have a glass cook top...... I would recommend these in a heartbeat.

I stopped buying sets, too. I don't use half the pieces.
I buy the pieces I need.
I have All Clad from Marshalls/Home Goods/TJ Maxx.
And I have Le Creuset - I have 2 dutch ovens of different sizes from the LC outlet.

@hennypenny I need the exact same information! All my TFal pots are in the garbage. I need a 12" skillet with a lid but it has to be lightweight. I have one that weighs a ton and I can't lift it one-handed. When T-Fal first came out on QVC I bought what they called a chicken fryer. It had a handle and a helper handle. I loved it to pieces until it literally cracked into pieces on the inside and I threw it away. I know Caphalon is supposed to be excellent but it's way too heavy. I know they sell these new copper pots now, but I don't know about that non-stick surface and if it can be harmful to our health. I'm back to using my original Farerware that my mom bought me for my engagement 49 years ago. It's still in great shape, but it's stainless and not non-stick.
I'm interested in reading the replies. On my way!

Sunny, I still haven't bitten the bullet.
My Q set included a chicken fryer, loved it.
One of my sons swears by calphalon. But said if I didn't want that to make sure the pots have the NFSA (that isn't right, but close?) stamp on the bottom. He said definately rivited handles.
Let me know if you see anything interesting out there.
