@Kachina624 -- you're very lucky.  You've stated on here many times that you get the right size every time you order.   I'm not that lucky, I guess.  For example, when I order a pair of jeans that has a stated 28-inch inseam, I expect to receive a pair of jeans with a 28-inch inseam.  But noooo....  I've received anything from 27 inches to 29 1/2.   I don't trust QVC measurements for that reason.  The measurements on the website (or as announced during an on-air presentation) aren't always correct.

Even if you were to buy your clothes from a brick and mortar store, you will find variance in measurements. That's because when they say "28 inch inseam", that is an average. They don't measure each and every single piece of clothing. That would add to cost, and time of getting the item to you. They will take a certain number of each item, measure, and get an average. They allow for a bit of "wiggle room", because humans don't cut the fabric, machines do, and machines aren't perfect when it comes to cutting.

Kaydee50 - that's exactly what I mean, that's all I need. Pant measurements are usually ok put when they start with measurements on tops - starting with the middle of the back measurement etc, they loose me.

Kachina why would you need more than that? That's all you need, anymore than that gets confusing. I'm not making the item just purchasing.

@Anonymous032819 -- Yes, a store sales clerk explained the machine cutting process to me once - and why the jeans at the bottom of the pile of denim are always going to be bigger than the jeans on the top of the pile.   Which is why I prefer to try on jeans/slacks at a store and not shop online.  There has been way too much "wiggle room" in some of the clothing I've received from QVC.

Here are the specs for A390501, just an example since I like one of the colors.

This has been discussed before, and yes, take a stab at a hip measurement 8-9 inches below the waist.

@luvsshopping

Even if you measure yourself and go to the garment sizing chart....that is IF it's even there.....sometimes the info is inaccurate....Ive been burned several times on this....!!!!
