just wondering how long it takes to receive a refund. I did get confirmation on 12/3 that qvc received my return item but as of today still not credited to my checking account. Can someone answer this

I've had my refunds credited to my credit card within a day or two.
I never use a debit card - I believe they work differently, but I'll never know why. Maybe ask your bank how it works for them?

QVC takes the longest of all the on-line purchases I make. This is why I first look at other on-line retailers for items before going to QVC. That and the fact that lately I have had to sent items back, mostly clothing, that has cost me dearly with the new return policy. My purchases with QVC, unfortunately, have become less and less.

I am sure someone from QVC will answer but just a general rule for everyone as to how most refunds work these days:
Credit cards: Once refunds are actually processed they usually go overnight to a middleman which then distributes the charges/refunds from the various businesses to the different credit card banks for processing back to your card. Normally takes 3-5 business days depending on how fast your own credit card bank is at processing and posting the refund. I can tell you most of our refunds are seen back to the cards in about 2-3 days.
ACH/Bank drafts: These are more complicated. Most businesses choose to wait until the money has cleared your bank account to make sure they actually receive it. They don't want to process a refund without actually receiving the money first because if your payment is rejected due to NSF or an invalid account number, etc, the business is now giving a refund for a payment they never actually got. Receiving a payment from a bank account can take about as long as the actual clearing of a handwritten check. Same thing in giving the money back to you. For this reason, checking account refunds normally take 7-10 business days.
Moral of the story: If you can use a credit card, do it. Faster refunds if you ever need one plus you have more protection under the law as a buyer.
