Hi cute, yep, keep your eyes open for the baby bunny. Don't know why people associate them with Easter, but they do. We do have to make sure he's okay.

Had to get up really early (for me) for my appointment and dressed in summer stuff, but was cold. It was in the low 60s and sort of gray. But the sun is out and it's in the low 70s now. I saw the doc and they arranged for me to get in to my eye doc tomorrow. He won't be there because he operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but one of the other docs will see what needs to be done for my eyes. I'm thinking the right one might be a bit better today, but need to make sure.

I did go next door and to "Talk among yourselves", but didn't see you, and my computer is set to not allow me on face book, so I don't know what else to do.

DD said the people did come and look at her place. Nice people, but she didn't sense any interest. Someone will want it, or they will move out while it's being gutted and remodeled. That would be hard, I think.

Glad you won the hangers. I'm still using my huggable hangers from years back.

It's so nice that you can open your windows and air out the house after a long cold winter.

Hi to everyone.

cute, hope your hubby had his tooth pulled and is doing okay. Had that done once. Didn't hurt, but the pressure felt like my head was going to get pulled off. It's nice he has some time off. I'll go next door and hope to find my name. I'm not very good at it. It took me a bit to figure out how to find this site today.

Thanks for being concerned for my DD. And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DD! She's probably had some fun with being an April Fools day baby.

I went to the eye doc today. She said both eyes are infected. Lots of mucous. She put me on an antibiotic drop to be used 3 times a day, and Saturday I add the steroid drops I've used before. I go back on the 10th. I have upper and lower tear duct plugs, but have lost one in each eye, so I'll get new ones when I return. They help a lot. Went to the drug store to get my drops and also order my hormones the insurance company won't pay for anymore. A six month supply is only a little over $21.00! Maybe some things are better paid out of pocket! Made this girl happy for sure.

Hi to everyone, and a Happy Easter.

Hi cute, happy to hear that your hubby is okay after having the tooth pulled. Love oatmeal, especially the one with walnuts, raisins and dates. Have it every day for breakfast.

I did go next door and saw your post and the picture of you and your hubby. Tried to sign in, but couldn't figure out how to, so I just looked. You are quite the good looking couple. Thanks for the effort to do that for us.

Am hoping the eye drops get rid of the infection. Think they will.

We are getting our hair cuts later today. Our friend comes to the house. I like mine as it is, but DD is feeling "shaggy". Made my mammo appointment. They are open on Saturdays, so that works well. There are way less trucks on the freeways on weekends.

Blessed Good Friday to those for whom it is meaningful, and happy Easter.

Happy Easter/Happy Passover to everyone! I hope all is well. DH and I have been very sick with a norovirus that DH caught while he was in the hospital last week. He's much better now. He's just about back to normal. I thought I had escaped, but I wound up catching it, too. The upside: I lost 5 pounds in 2 days. Smiley Happy I'm sure it will be back as soon as I have one square meal, but right now looking at food (and smelling it) makes me gag. I do plan, however, to make a ham dinner tomorrow with sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, and pumpkin pie. I'm keeping it simple. I have a couple of surprise Happy Easter treats hidden for DH and DS -- I do that every year, and they love it. I'm glad I bought them before I got sick.

Devia, I saw your post next door after you talked about it here. Sweet pic of you and DH!

Snappy, upper left of HSN home page there's a "sign in" spot, and then you look for "Community" at the top OR at the bottom right of the screen (you have to scroll way down). I don't know why they make it difficult, but there's a lot of visual stimulation on that home page -- lots of stuff going on, and sometimes it's overwhelming.

Devia, I looked on Colleen's Facebook public page (since I'm not on Facebook) for you in her dress, but I couldn't find it -- but I did see two posts from you. I did a search for your first name, and voila!

Snappy (uh oh, I'm feeling like a "tennis match" -- Snappy, Devia (neck turns again), Snappy Devia -- LOL!) -- ANYWAY, Snappy, I hope your eye infection clears up soon -- quite irritating, especially with Dry Eye. And you've got the water restrictions now! I hope you get water soon. It's a big concern for all of us. I want to answer your question about steaming. I have plantation shutters in some bedrooms, and I can hang an item on a hanger and then stick the hanger between the slats so I can steam (turning the item over to steam the other side). I recently installed a small "contraption" in the laundry room -- found it at Home Depot. I think it's called a "valet rod," and you can hang several items on it. Perfect for steaming.

Issy, I have been enjoying my Skinn items, but for now I'm steering clear of that guy! Smiley Happy His products are too tempting. One of my sisters has allergies and reacts to makeup, so I sent her some Suzanne Somers organic makeup. I can't wait for her to try it; I'm hoping she doesn't have any negative reactions to it. Speaking of ... I've been watching DWTS, and I was impressed by Suzanne's dance last week. Have you been watching? She was successfully keeping up with those intricate and fast steps. I think she's very happy to be there, and I am voting for her!

I wish everyone who reads and posts here a happy holiday!

Hi cute, women's work is never done. But a clean house is so nice. Glad your hubby has a few days to take it easy, and that he is doing okay after the tooth extraction. When I had my wisdom tooth pulled about 3 years ago, I started eating soft things and that's when the weight started coming off. Am so bummed to admit that I've regained 8 pounds. It's from the popsicles. They are low in calorie, but not if I eat 8 or 10 of them in the evening. Have to figure out some other way to snack that will help me get rid of it. Don't know what to wear tomorrow, although I have a pretty 2 piece SG set that I can wear with either pants or capris, depending on the weather. And my family is SO informal that I'll probably look over dressed. Are you getting together with any of your family? BTW, how is your DD these days? Happy Easter to you, dear friend, and thanks for the picture.

MsLomo, I appreciate your explanation about how to navigate at HSN. They gave me a "test" to prove I was human, but I couldn't figure out how to do it! So maybe I'm not...{#emotions_dlg.w00t} Very sorry to hear that you and your hubby have been so ill. That's scary stuff, so I'm grateful to know he is getting better, and you sound perky. Glad you got your Easter treats for the guys beforehand. Dinner sounds great, hope you can eat some of it. We are all getting together at Marie Calendar's after church tomorrow. 7 birthdays, 2 anniversaries, plus of course the real reason for the day. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus. So grateful for Him.

My eyes seem a bit better today. The drops are soothing at first. I can keep my right eye open now which is a plus. Thanks for the tips about steaming. All our windows are covered with either vertical blinds or curtains. But a valet device could be set up in the garage where I could do the steaming. Would have to buy a steamer, of course. BTW, I think you were the one who told me to put 3 cups of ice down the garbage disposal when it smelled. Well, I've done that several times, and it always WORKS. Thank you so much. For some reason, whenever I color my hair, it happens, and then that color comes back up in the sink and is then GONE.

It's in the 80s here today, but cooler weather is coming and the smallest of chances of some rain mid week. We can pray and hope so. Our little city uses reclaimed water for the fountains and median irrigation, but they may stop that. If I were younger and hubby were still here, it would be good to take up the lawn and put in drought resistant plants, but that's way too much for DD and me to do. The thing now is that we are being required to cut consumption by 25%, but DD and I always conserve, so we don't know what to do to cut it that much. Showering every other day is something we can't quite do yet, but we do take brief ones. Five minutes or so.

Well, hi to Issy, bath and all our dear friends. And the happiest of Easters to each one who reads here. He is risen!
