Weighted Blankets

[ Edited ]

This topic came up last year, but I wanted to revisit.

To those who responded favorably, do you still review it as 👍?

Which brands do you have?

Do you have plastic or glass beads?

Cotton, flannel or ‘minky’ fabric?

Re: Weighted Blankets: Revisit

My daughter has sensory integration disorder and as a part of her occupational therapy we ordered one through one of the OT catalogs. Not sure what the brand was however.

@GenXmuse

Thank you for responding!

- Is her blanket made of plastic pellets or glass beads?

- Have you washed it?

I’ve read these materials can hold moisture & they said mildew could be an issue if not carefully dried.

I would love your feedback! TIA!

Sure!  It has PET pellets and I have machine washed it and dried on low without a problem. 🌸😊

These blankets are great for austistic children. They also have weighted vests.
