Umm, I'm glad you are entertained.  I'm pretty sure I'm not alone with my position about that disgraceful operation.

@SydneyH  You are famous for your repeated use of the LOL or lol.  I think you can handle one tossed your way 😃

I wish Anderson Cooper would put a hat or hood on, he looks ridiculious standing in the rain/storm getting soaked! This morning a female reporter on the Today Show was out in the storm without her hood on, getting drenched.   I know they do it for ratings, but if they continiously are warning others to stay inside, then why are they out in the storm risking their lives.

Anderson Cooper never looks ridiculous.

ABC Reporter Amy R. had a storm hat on but it was blown off and it wasn't done for ratings.  I don't understand why people are so quick to criticize, those reporters are doing a good job.

@Noel7, see my post. Carte blanche on a subject and people QVC moderators won't feel much motivated to delete because it isn't QVC related or fellow poster related. But people can still get their inner ***** on.

I just don't get it @Moonchilde , looking for any reason to tear down successful people.

Something else just struck me, @Noel7. So many people follow Reality TV and accept the doings and sayings and appearance of the dregs of humanity and those only interested in their 15 min of fame. That entertains {shudder} them. But picking apart news people and their networks in the middle of a national disaster? Oh, that's entertainment too. I guess.

I have two friends in the path of Irma after it leaves FLA. one is a police dept employee who is considered one of the essential personnel, so she has to be at work and leave her 10 year old home alone. (No family in town).  Who knows if there will be power for him, or the PD. But she has to go. Maybe I should make fun of what she wears to work, or rail about her PD that's forcing her to go.

Goodness @Moonchilde wouldn't the police department allow her to bring her child with her to safety in this storm?

This network, and I hesitate to use that term has lost all credibility with me, I refuse to watch it.

Speaking of no credibility I remember you posting that you enjoy Alex Jones.

I read news articles from sources that span the spectrum.  If I read something that doesn't sound right or is disputed, I look deeper into the matter or I hold off on forming a strong opinion until I know more.

I will even read articles written by people I know I'm probably going to disagree with, because I want to know what the rationale is for their opinion.

I don't usually watch the news because I don't have cable.  I usually read it online or in the paper.

ETA:  I understand why people have bad opinions about certain sources, but I like to know what is being said anyway, even if I wind up thinking it's not credible.

I did enjoy a break in the serious tone of this weeks events. It's been a stressful week.  Thanks Sydney.
