Is this the news/weather people out in this storm?  I don't watch CNN, so I'm just guessing, but I agree, why would you take a chance on debris hurting your people who report.  We understand storms, winds, rain.  Why take a chance on them being hurt or injured?  I don't get that from any of the news people, including the weather channel.

Ratings. It's all about ratings. Gotta have the biggest, baddest, most extensive coverage in order to keep people watching. They ALL acted like they were disappointed when the storm track moved west and took Miami out the mix for a direct hit.

I'm not watching CNN either.

 

Watching the Weather Channel and you can barely hear what some of them are saying.

One had to keep bending over to center his body gravity as the winds pummeled him.
