Re: You Know It's September When..

We know it's September when San Francisco gets warmer weather and mini heat spells.

It's also dilemma time when Noel wonders if it's appropriate to wear clothes she picked out for summer but didn't wear because of the daily fog.

I miss switching over the seasonal wardrobe and getting all different stuff to wear now that we live in Fl. I am pretty tired of my clothes.

@151949, yes it's nice having two different wardrobes, but not fun bringing the short sleeves downstairs and bringing up the long sleeves and making several trips. Then I have to lug up the winter coats and bring down the light weight ones. And I still complain I have nothing to wear! Also my elderly mother hates September because you can tell it's getting dark earlier and she gets a little blue when it happens.

Re: You Know It's September When..

I have always wished for 4 seasons. In SoCalifornia, it was dress in layers, always have a coat or sweatshirt with me (sometimes BOTH ).  Under 72, it is cold.  Now, September saw a reversal, cold in  the AM,hot in afternoon

Like Noel in NoCalifornia, fog in the AM, but, ours cleared out faster. Now in Az, still have to have sweatshirts and coats, take a break and go outside to warm up.

Seeing here the hassle of changeover of wardrobe I am glad I live in the enviroment I do,

I hear the squeal of school bus brakes at our stop and it's still dark outside!

Wow, Noel!  I wish we had your summer.   I just cannot stand the heat at all and our summers are so long and hot now.  We are starting to get slight cooling (40s at night and maybe mid 80s for the high) in the last several days.   Still too hot for me, but I'm just anxiously awaiting winter!  Smiley Happy

I go to Starbucks everyday.  I saw on the menu today the pumpkin scones are back.  I had to look away so I would just order my coffee and not add one to my order.  I love those things.
