I would say if was anger if she was suing the pilot but the pilot is dead. So, it's only for the money. Apparently, she doesn't think she's wealthy enough.

Significant puntiive damages might be enough to put the company out of business. If they allowed this pilot to fly in those conditions, they should be out of business.
Her motive is not any of our business and is only speculative.

Oh my @esmerelda , I can't believe you started this thread on the speculation of motive! Did you ever think about the other families as well? They along with the Bryant family have every right to sue.

We aren't psychics. So when we say we know what another person's motivation is, we are only revealing what our motivation would be.

Vanessa isn't doing it for the money or the attention.Like a previous poster stated it's about accountability. Her husband & child are dead because of someone's negligence.

Exactly. And oftentimes the only way to make such changes - so other families don't have to go through this nightmare - is usually through a lawsuit.

My dh once flew in a similar situation. The pilot wasdisoriented by snow and told my dh to watch for a break where he could see ground...when my dh spotter a clearing they landed right along the highway..thankfully no cars got involved and they were able to avoid a crash. They were picked up by a taxi.Pilots should not take chances with lives.I think she should sue to get the message out there.Another time my dh flew in a small plane to the queen charlottes. The plane ride was very turbulent and when they finally landed the pilot said ..lucky you flew with meAnyone else would have turned back.My dh said he wanted to punch him but he was so grateful to be alive that he just left the plane.
